This loft was designed for a young professional couple. The open layout was a canvas for the multitude of textures and muted, earthy palette that suited both of their tastes. Rich embroidered silk and sateen textiles from Manual Canovas and Ralph Lauren Home provided a soft contrast to the leather and wood. Bespoke details, like contrast welt, and custom colored linen wrapped coffee table make this space unique for the client. Cushions, in durable yet pretty sun fella fabrics provide additional seating in the windows that overlook Manhattan’s townhomes and antique shops. Granite counter tops and glass tiles update the open kitchen. The master with en suite are done up in cool blues, a respite from the warmer dark tones of the living areas. Custom Roman shades in linens with chinoiserie print accents compliment the art custom made by a family member to hang above the Dakota Jackson bed frame. Carrara marble updates the master bathroom along with a custom vanity.
