COMMERCIAL WORKThis new-build spec house quickly became a more custom project once Burrow & Nest was hired by the buyer. Upgraded fixtures and finishes, including a stunning fireplace facade of New England stone, was implemented to give the home a bespoke look-- a complement to the builders superb craftsmanship. The home comprised of a primary suite, three and a half baths, three guest rooms and a large media room on the second floor. While the house resides near the coast, it retreats to a wooded setting, evoking a cozy, country feel that lended itself to the arts & crafts movement. Elements of William Morris' textile designs were used throughout the home, giving it authentic appeal, as if the home had been tucked into the surrounding forest for decades.
